Abstract

First, we point out and improve the drawback of the matrix-transform-algorithm in reference[2]. Second, we provide a new method for calculating attribute significance using the heuristic knowledge in the information system. Then we give a heuristic attribute reduction algorithm based on binary discernible matrix.
