Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug resistance of 213 coagulase negative staphylococcus strains isolated in our hospital.METHODS The clinical isolates were identified and antimicrobial susceptibility tests were detected by ATB of BioMerieux of France.RESULTS Totally 213 Coagulase negative staphylococcus strains were isolated, including 91 Staphylococcus epidermidis(42.7%),44 S.haemolyticus(20.7%),23 S.hominis(10.8%),17 S.capitis(8.0%),the antibiotic resistance rates to vancomycin, nitrofurantoin, fusidic aci,teicoplanin,minocycline,quinupristin/dalfopristin and rifapin were from 0 to 7.0%,the drug resistant rate to other antibiotics was 40.4%-93.4%.The detection rate of MRCNS was 78.4%.CONCLUSION The drug resistance of coagulase negative staphylococcus is increasingly severe. The high positive results of MRCNS make great trouble for therapy, which should be focused on in clinics.
