Abstract
The method for determining oxytetracycline residues in milk by RP-HPLC was established. Oxytetracycline in milk was extracted by methanol with oxalic acid. After being centrifuged, the extract was assayed by HPLC with C_(18) column(5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm) and methanol-acetonitrile - 0.01mol/L oxalic acid (20∶12∶68,(V/V)) as the mobile phase at flow rate of 1 mL/min. The detection wavelenght was at 360 nm. The standard curve was linear for oxytetracycline in the range of 50~1 500 μg/L(r=0.999 9,n=6). The average recovery(n=5) was 88%. The method is simple, accurate and rapid.
