Abstract
There is a clear distinction between the two concepts of and in Wang Guowei's research of traditional drama.Drama was the name for the performance of plays and operas of different styles in different periods;pure drama was the name for our traditional in the advanced stage while opera refers to the tune and singing in the literature of drama.
