Review of Degradation of Environmental Hormone (Phthalic Acid Esters)

Abstract

Phthalic acid esters have become a kind of widespread environmental organic pollutants(Environmental Hormone).The physical and chemical properties,toxicity,carcinogenicity of phthalic acid esters and their effects on environment were presented. Development of degradation of phthalic acid esters was discussed and the photocatalytic degradation of those esters was emphasized in particular.
