Abstract
Postponement strategy is effective in supply chain risk management.Existing researches have their limitations.Based on the normal accident theory,the effect of postponement strategy in supply chain risk management is analyzed generally.Then based on the process of activities in value chain,supply chain risks are classified into supply risk,production risk,demand risk.And the effect of postponement strategy on mitigating each risk is analyzed concretely,which provides guideline for enterprise to choose appropriate postponement strategy in supply chain risk management.
