Abstract

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of phacoemulsification technique for the treatment of angle closure glaucoma, and investigate its security.Method:136 patients angle closure glaucoma in our ophthalmology from July 2011 to January 2013 were selected, they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,68 cases in each group. The control group was given trabeculectomy for treatment, and the observation group was given phacoemulsification for treatment, the visual acuity, intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth between the two groups before operation and 6 months after operation were observed and compared, and observed the complications after operation.Result:after 6 months of follow-up,the visual acuity, intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth after operation of the two groups were were significantly better than those before operation, and the visual acuity and anterior chamber depth after operation of the observation group were significantly higher than the control group, the intraocular pressure was significantly lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).And there were no bleeding, iris injury, malignant glaucoma and corneal decompensation occurred in the observation group, was better than the control group. Conclusion:The phacoemulsification treating angle closure glaucoma have the advantages of good clinical effect, fewer complications,is worthy of clinical application.
