Abstract
In this paper, single machine infinite system and equivalent two machine system are analyzed to indicate the relationship between the inertia and the transient stability of the system. It's analyzed by a time-domain simulation using EUROSTAG and validated the importance of the inertia in weak interconnect systems in IEEE-39.The greater the inertia of the system, the slower system relative angles change, in weak connected systems, the send subsystem and end subsystem with weak links, relative angles between two subsystems change differently ,so inertias of subsystems affect the transient stability of the system dissimilarly.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
