Abstract
The landfill leachate is the strong contaminated wastewater which produced in the garbage covering process. The leachate contains high COD (chemical oxygen demand) and ammonium ions, which is one of the most important contaminations in cities and especially residential areas currently. In this paper, the leachate obtained from Heimifeng landfill plant was using as the study object, via the treatment of the purified aerobic microorganism lived in the wastewater drain pipe collected from Heimifeng landfill plant and chemistry-physical treatment together, the COD was detected to compare the different effects. The COD of the leachate treated by strain purified 5 times was 242.64 mg/L and was 113.97 mg/L pre-treated by chemistry-physical method, which reached the third discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant. The final result indicates the a better effect when the chemistry-physical treatment combined with the treatment of the strain.
