Abstract
The conversion model of RGB to L* a* b* color space was established with data of 1000 samples and polynomial regression equation. Color difference was calculated and the advantage and disadvantage of polynomial regression algorithm was analyzed. The experimental results showed that the polynomial regression algorithm is simple, easy for reverse operation, and fast in calculation.
