Abstract
Many constitutions prescribe the citizen's obligation of abiding by constitution.To common citizens,abiding by constitution mainly means maintaining constitution,not submitting to it.The obligation of maintaining constitution is ethical,while the obligation of submitting to constitution is legal,which has indirect legal validity to citizens,however.The primary effect that constitution prescribes this obligation is to cultivate citizens' constitution consciousness and right consciousness.
