Abstract
The color reaction of 1\|(2,6\|dibromo\|4\|nitrophenyl)\|3\|(4\|nitrophenyl)\|triazene(DBNPNPT)with zinc(Ⅱ)has been studied. In the medium of pH=9.0_ 11.0 buffer solution of Na 2B 4O 7\|NaOH yellow complex(1∶1) can be formed in the presence of triton X\|100.The molar absorptivity is 1.34×10 5L·mol -1 ·cm -1 by using dual\|wavelength spectrophotometry of which the reference and the determination wavelength are 535nm and 440nm respectively. The proposed method has been used for the determination of zinc in zinc gluconate with satisfactory results.
