Abstract

Seepage analysis is part of the difficult and hot dike safety research. As for the bidirectional seepage problem in double layer foundation, it is generalized as a level bidirectional seepage problem. This paper discusses the model of bidirectional seepage field in double layer foundation, combined with double seepage stability criterion, adopting the level bidirectional seepage finite element method to simulate double layer foundation seepage field. Then, it calculates a levee seepage field, compares with the measured values, and verifies the method to calculate the seepage field and seepage stability criterion of reliability and feasibility. On this basis, this paper analyses the stability evaluation of clay soil cover layer in double layer foundation penetrating region and the seepage failure mode and provides the reference for the risk control of embankment engineering.
