Abstract

The Direct Digital Synthesizer(DDS),which uses the fully digital structure,has advantages of both direct frequency synthesis technology and indirect frequency synthesis technology.The AD9959 is a DDS chip with the built-in four high-speed 10 bit DAC and the sampling rate is up to 500MS/s.A frequency synthesizer is designed based on DDS principle with the AD9959 chip,using STC10L08XE as MCU,which can produce a local oscillator signal of high frequency,and be used effectivly in the audio signal receiver.
