Abstract

Objective To explore the Effect of Group Therapy on Social Anxiety of College Students,24 college students were randomly assigned to 2 groups: Experimental and control groups.The experimental group were given Cognitive behavioral group therapy for 10times,and no treatment was taken on the control group.IAS,SCL-90,ATQ and UCLA Loneliness Scale are used to evaluate the effect of Group Therapy.The scores in IAS,interpersonal sensitivity,Depression,Compulsion,Anxiety,Phobia,somatization and monomania between two groups are not significantly different before therapy,but are significantly different after experient.The scores of experimental group after group therapy are significantly different from those without therapy.Cognitive behavioral group therapy is effective in college students with social Anxiety.
