Abstract

In order to improve the method and quality of transplanting flue- cured tobacco seedlings,we carried out the field tests for different transplanting methods. The results showed that the method of deep transplantation combining with nutrient soil could promote the growth and development of tobacco plants, and could improve their agronomic characters. In addition, the combined application of nutrient soil in transplanting was also beneficial to the improvement of tobacco leaf yield and quality, and the coordination of chemical compositions in lower and middle leaves. In Jianyang, the suitable method of transplanting flue- cured tobacco was the deep cultivation combining with improved nutrient soil.
