Abstract

Vehicle equivalent single-axle load factor is different with environmental temperature changed for asphalt pavement, rather than used in the existing asphalt pavement design specifications as the determined value of 4.35.In summing up research fruits at home and abroad, this paper started with the mechanical properties of viscoelastic of asphalt mixture, made use of asphalt stiffness modulus to determine asphalt mixture stiffness modulus, used dynamic modulus materials, used software Bisar to calculate load response in semi-rigid asphalt pavement at different temperatures, analyzed and deduced the equivalent single-axle load factor in different temperatures.Using this formula for axle load conversion can be more accurate and it has value to practical guidance.
