Petroleum Trade,Petroleum Security and China's Countermeasures

Petroleum was vital to China's economy and country security. After becoming a net petroleum importer country in 1993,the degree of dependence upon import has been increasing year by year. Further more, the more oil our country bought, the higher the oil price was. Since the petroleum price soared in 2003, petroleum security became more danger than ever. This paper analyzed the situation of China's petroleum security and offered several suggestions to make sure of the safe supply of petroleum.
