Abstract

The fracture reason of screw bolt was analyzed by morphology and microstructure analysis,chemical composition analysis,metallographic composition analysis.The results show that the main reason of the fracture is surface weakening caused by surface decarburization layer,which can promote the formation of fatigue crack source and accelerate the fatigue fracture process.
