The disinfecting effect of a compound disinfectant of chlorine dioxide and chlorine on hospital sewage

Abstract
Through a series of experiments,the effects of the combined disinfectants with chlorine dioxide and chlorine on disinfection and the content of chlorine dioxide,chlorine and chlorite ion the secondary treatment of effluent are studied.The results show that the combination of chlorine dioxide and chlorine reduces the concentration of the unexpected chlorite ion,while it increases the concentration of chlorine dioxide.The combined disinfectant has a standing effect in killing bacterium.
