Abstract

Aim To study the difference in pharmacokinetics and relative bioavailability of lefucoxib between Beagle dogs' intake of food and fasting before being given lefucoxib. Methods Celecoxib was used as the internal standard.Lefucoxib in Beagle dog plasma was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Results The lefucoxib' relative bioavailability was 3.98% and 29.7% respectively in case of intake of food and fasting. Conclusion Food can improve organisms' absorption of lefucoxib in vivo.
