Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effects of multiloop edgewise archwire(MEAW)therapy in the treatment of open bite.Methods:15 cases of different open bites were treated by MEAW technique and had good therapeutic effect.Results:The multiloop edgewise archwire could effectively erect posterior teeth and get planar change of teeth properties.Conclusion:multiloop edgewise archwire technic has the advantages of good therapeutic effect,short course and wide indication.
