Abstract

Objective To study the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound in breast tumors. Methods A total of 119 breast cancers and 47 benign breast tumors were diagnosed by postoperative pathology, and their sonographic characteristics were retrospectively analyzed. Results Breast cancer was diagnosed in 111 cases and misdiagnosed in 8 cases in 119 breast cancers, while benign neoplasm was diagnosed in 44 cases and misdiagnosed in 3 cases in 47 benign breast tumors. The accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and positive and negative predictive value of ultrasound in the diagnosis of breast cancer were 93.4%,84.6%,97.4%,93.3%and 93.6%, respectively. There were statistical differences in the sonographic features including edge burr,vertical/horizontal ratio≥1,posterior echo attenuation,sand-like calcification,RI and the like between benign and malignant breast tumors(P0.01).Conclusion High frequency color Doppler ultrasound plays an important role in the differential diagnosis of breast cancer.
