Abstract
The paper introduces the features of the soft soil and the hazards of the soft soil foundation,illustrates the shallow soft soil foundation,the deep soft soil foundation,all sorts of treatment methods of composite foundation,the foundation principles and the advantages and disadvantages,and points out the reasonable schemes by considering the engineering geology,the upper structure,the engineering period,and the costs,and other factors.
