Study of prevention and treatment of fulminant hepatitis with multiple organs failure

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relation between fulminant hepatitis and multiple organs failure(MOF).Methods Clinical analysis on 296 cases of fulminant hepatitis with MOF.Results The patients of fulminant hepatitis complicated with MOF had a mortality 68.2%.Mortality was up to 100% when up to four organs had function failure.The more organs function are to be involved in,the worse prognosis will be.Etiology was complexed and infection and endotoxin were the main causes.Conclusion The early recognition of MOF,comprehensive treatment of underlying diseases,infection control and diminished absorption of endotoxin,treatment any cause in time may improve prognosis.
