Both economic theory and expierence studies make it clear that Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) has had great influence on the economic developement of China in the past 20 years. However, the recent FDI studies raise some potential risks that FDI brings to the economic development of the developing countries The article summarizes the theoretical analyses of such potential risks and, according to the experiences of attracting FDI in China, puts forword some policy suggestions on the future FDI attraction of China
