Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of nucha electrical acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture for treating vascular dementia.Methods:60 VD patients were involved and divided into two groups.Observation group(30 cases): Nucha electrical acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture and nimodipine tablets.Control group(30 cases): nimodipine tablets only.Compare the MMSE and HDS-R measuring scales before and after treatment of the two groups.Results:They all had somewhat effect on treating VD.Observation group was better than control group in treating VD(P0.05).Conclusion:Nucha electrical acupuncture combined scalp acupuncture for treating vascular dementia is effective.
