Discussion on Factors Affecting the Determination of Formaldehyde Content in Textile Products

Abstract
The content of formaldehyde is a compulsory examination item in textile inspection,so it is very necessary to understand related factors that affect the determination of formaldehyde content. The factors afecting the results of formaldehyde determination were discussed from three aspects:specimen storage,specimen extraction and color reaction of extraction. The result shows that the influence of specimen storage condition and water bath temperature on determination of formaldehyde content was great.
