Abstract
Vacuum brazing of 42CrMo steel and hard alloy YG8 with self-developed CuMnNi solder was studied.Through three-point bending experiment, wetting test,SEM and EDS,the effects of brazing temperature and joint clearance on microstructure and properties of the joint were discussed respectively. The results show that,CuMnNi solder has better wettability to YG8 and 42CrMo steel, when brazing temperature is 950℃,clearance is 0.2 mm and vacuum degree is 5× 10-2 Pa,the bending strength reaches 436 MPa.The FeCoNi-based solid solution is formed at the interface of joint.
