Abstract

As soon as the concept of digital Earth has been presented, it has attracted attention of the whole world. Digital Earth is important for us to understand our planet in the 21st Century. The foun- dation and the key of digital Earth is data. At first this paper generalizes some special features of data in Digital Earth. Then the theory of data processing in Digital Earth has been introduced in this paper.
