Abstract

Objective To discuss the role and significance about glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc)in diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods Fasting blood glucose(FPG),glucose screening tes(tGCT),oral glucose tolerance tes(tOGTT)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc)were determinated in group of normal pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus group(GDM)and impaired glucose tolerance group, and the results were retrospectively analyzed. Results Compared with normal pregnancy outcome and impaired glucose tolerance group FPG,HbAlc and glucose screening test results of gestational diabetes mellitus group were significantly higher than the two groups, the difference was significan(tP0.05).HbAlc result of gestational diabetes group and the positive OGTT results was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Determination of HbAlc is fast, simple, accurate, and check the characteristics of a small amount of blood and are not easily affected by other factors, can serve as a clinical diagnosis of GDM screening indicators.
