Aesthetic Value of Musical Literature in Yellow River Cantata

Yellow River Cantata is one of immortal masterpieces in Chinese chorus history,its artistic value exists not only in music performance. This paper probes into the aesthetic value of musical literature via the lyrics of Yellow River Cantata: to lead the anti- Japanese national salvation movement in virtue of the poem,to show greatness of China resorting to the mother river's breadth of spirit,to praise the national spirit via the people's tenacity,to establish the musical form by the connotation of the poem,to build up artistic conception by words.
