Abstract
Objective To explore the changes in serum levels of C-reactive protein(CRP) and sE-selectin,the relations of them to diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods By ELISA method, the concentrations of CRP and sE-selectin were measured in 50 patients with T2DM and 25 controls.Results(1)The concentrations of CRP and sE-selectin were higher in T2DM patients than in controls, the concentrations of CRP and sE-selectin in type 2 diabetic patients with DN were higher than those in type 2 diabetic patients without DN.(2)Serum level of CRP was positively correlated with serum level of sE-selectin in type 2 diabetic patients. Conclusion The interaction of CRP and sE-selectin might participate in the occurrence and development of T2DM,and correlated to the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy.
