Spiritual Wondering Through the Purgatory of Reality——On the Nature of Reality in Atwood's Novels

Margaret Atwood is generally viewed as a postmodern writer in China.Yet one can not deny the fact that realism is the tradition in Canadian literature.As one of the most recognized native writers of fiction in Canada,she can not escape from that tradition.This paper attempts to analyze the realistic elements in her fiction from the perspective of artfulness,themes and ideology.
