Abstract

This paper propose a fast-checking method for the light collimation based on Talbot effect. The collimation of laser (or other ray ) beam can be checked by measuring the obliquity of Moire fringe of twin-grating. It is simple and easy to perform fast auto-measurement with high precision. Experiments have verified that the relative error of collimation is up to ± 0.012%.
