Study of Data Synchronization Based on Oracle Materialized View Log

Abstract

In the process of developping information system,data synchronization between distributed database and distributed application system is a common and complex problem.There are difficulties in the solutions,e.g.it's hard to reflect the frequent changes of data and inefficient for data synchronization.This paper focuses on the mechanism of the materialized view log in Oracle database,discusses the data structure of the materialized view log in Oracle database and how it works,and introduces a method for data synchronization based on the materialized view log in Oracle database.
