Abstract
Nickel hydroxides coated with different contents of cobalt hydroxide were prepared by complex precipitation method.The microstructure of surface and charge-discharge properties were analyzed using scanning electronic spectroscopy and galvanostatic charge-discharge cycling technology.The results showed that rate discharge performance have relation to coating quantity of cobalt hydroxide on the surface of nickel hydroxide particles.Under high-rate discharge conditions,the optimum coating amount of cobalt hydroxide was 2% to 3.6%.The spherical nickel hydroxides enchased with cobalt hydroxide layer had good discharge capacity and huge current charge-discharge performances.
