Abstract
The paper mainly discusses a EDA technology based signal generator which has changeable period and pulse-width. The kind of EDA technology we pratically used corresponds to the CPLD which made by Altera . Through software programming , we can reconstruct the structure of the hardware and working mode which makes the hardware designing exact the same as software programming. To solve the limit of CPLD's working control, we put forward the dynamic configuration technology which adopt CPLD controlled by SCM . This paper analyzes the theory and relizationg of combined-mode CPLD's dynamic configuration ,and take MCS-51 SCM made by INTEL and MAX 7000 series made by Altera.
