Abstract

The tribological characteristics of compacted graphite cast iron with different CE and Mn content were investigated by self-made block-disk tester. The results indicate that the C.G. iron containing 0.9%~1.5%Mn,less than 4.2% CE,and with pearlite-base has high friction confficient and low wear rate.
