Abstract

In order to resolve issues such as currency devaluation,Edward I took a series of reform measures,mainly including resisting illegal to clip the coin and two recoinage.On the one hand,his currency reform was basically successful.This reform had opened a variety of currency denominations in the history of England,which was of landmark significance.On the other hand,this reform maintained the stability of the monetary system of England and provided the good currency environment for its social economy's development.
