A Positive Analysis of the Effect of Human Capital on Economic Growth in Yunnan

Abstract

The relationship between the human capital and economic growth indicates that the higher human capital increases,the larger the effect that it has on the economic growth becomes.The paper measures the level of human capital with the year accumulation method.An econometric model is used to measure and determine the function on economic growth by labor quantity and human capital from1979 to 2004.The results of econometric analysis are:the effect of human capital is higher than that of labor quantity.So improving the labor quality is an important way in economic growth in Yunnan.
