UNDERSTANDING OF BAUXITE RESOURCE AND ALUMINA INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA

Abstract

Advantage and disadvantage of diasporic bauxite is analyzed and proved based on the development of Chinese alumina industry and substantial decreasing in soda and energy consumption and cost.The conclusion is the Pingguo bauxite is an excellent rosurce.The other bauxite can also be excellent resource by economical desilication.Using Bayer and Dressing-Bayer processes is the technical direction to develop chinese alumina industry.
