Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the chemical constituents of Peiploca calophylla.METHODS The constituents were isolated and purified by chromatography technology and their structures were identified on basis of spectral data.RESULTS Nine compounds were isolated and identified as 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoldehyde(Ⅰ),3-methoxy-4-hydroxybenzoic acid(Ⅱ),ursolic acid(Ⅲ),2α-hydroxyursolic acid (Ⅳ),daucosterol (Ⅴ),lupeol acetate (Ⅵ),α-amyrin acetate (Ⅶ),1,8-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methylanthraquinone (Ⅷ) and β-sitosterol(Ⅸ).CONCLUSION All the compounds were isolated for the first time from the plant.
