Development of the quality evaluation questionnaire for nursing undergraduates

Objective To develop the quality evaluation questionnaire for nursing undergraduates. Methods A literature analysis method and theoretical analysis were applied to develop the draft of questionnaire,then the content validity was assessed by 10 experts. Eighty nurses with baccalaureate degree worked 3 to 5 years in first-class hospitals were investigated by the quality evaluation questionnaire to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. Results The formal questionnaire contained 4 dimensions,including professional attitude(8 items),professional knowledge and skills(12 items),selfdevelopment(6 items),physical and psychological well-being(4 items). The content validity index was 0.94,Cronbach's coefficient was 0.811,and test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.902. Conclusion The questionnaire has high reliability and validity,and it can be used to assess the quality of nursing undergraduates.
