Abstract
The development result of s3up reservoir in Wangzhang Oilfield has been poor for many years because of heavy oil,strongly water-sensitive and poor initial sand control of open hole completion.Comprehensive study on geology,thermal recovery adaptability,reservoir protection,reservoir engineering and supporting techniques has been conducted for this thin,strongly water-sensitive,ultra heavy oil reservoir,and a series of supporting techniques for s3up glutenite heavy oil reservoir has been formed,thus putting an end to the adverse trend of long-term ineffective producing,and providing valuable experience to the development of other similar reservoirs.
