Abstract
Effects of NaNO_(3),Na_(2)SO_(4)and NaCl on seed germination and seedling growth of pepper were studied. The results showed:while the concentration of salinity was higher than 100 mmol/L,with its increasing, the germination rate, root length, germination index, activity index of the seed were significantly reduced, and the plant height and leaf area of the seedlings were restricted. The order of stress degree was NaCl_()NaNO_(3)NaSO_(4).Furthermore,soluble carbohydrate, malondialdehyde(MDA) content and cell membrane permeability in leaves of pepper were raised.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
