Abstract

Harmony,a typical way of musical language,has its own regularity of development and evolution.Yet,its development reflects people's transition of cultural consciousness and aesthetic views.And harmony,a pure form,shows the color of humanity.This paper,from the point view of aesthetics,explores west ern harmony development;from the aspect of thinking,illustrates harmony phenom enon;shows the aesthetic characteristics of its every development stages;explores the two inner relationship of the development of western aesthetics and the development of harmony to show the regular pattern.
