Abstract

Objective:To explore the relationship between the left atrial diameter(LAD) and high sensitivity C reactive protein(hs-CRP) in patient with atrial fibrillation.Method:The study enrolled 120 cases with atrial fibrillation(persistent atrial fibrillation 56 cases and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation 64 cases) and 60 cases with sinus rhythm as control group.LAD was measured by echocardiography and hs-CRP was detected by immunization rate nephelometry. And the results were analyzed by Pearson linear correlation analysis.Result:The serum concentration of hs-CRP was significantly increased in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation than that in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation or sinus rhythm. And it was positively related to LAD in patient with atrial fibrillation. Conclusion:The serum hs-CRP increases and positively relates to LAD in patient with atrial fibrillation.
