Abstract
In this paper, the finite element analysis(FEA) and strain measurement for an engineering structure-the electric hoisting installation of the stalk of a power plant are presented. Both the strength data and stiffness data are obtained. The advantages of the numerical approaches and the experimental analysis methods are discussed, and an investigation is also made into how to make use of the advantages of the two methods complementally. The ANSYS commerical software used in the FEA is one of the best effective engineering FEA software. The advantages and disadvantages of the ANSYS software and how to use it,especially in the nonlinear calculation and adaptive FEA,are introduced briefly.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
