The problem of insufficient science and technology in development of industries in China

Based on a large amount of data and evidence, this paper discussed some problems in the development of industries in China. First, science and technology are not given enough emphasis in the development of the third industry and strategy industries. Second , there exists a phenomenon of monopoly of medium - and - low - level industries. The author claimed that it is necessary to pay attention to the innovation of not only hi - tech,but also the medium - and - low - level technology. This will help to develop the industry towards a direction of combining industrialization and informationalization, so as to increase the capability of innovation of the traditional industries and speed up the development of industries in China. The author also pointed out that the key factor that affecting the innovation of the old and traditional industries and industrial structure was the development of hi - tech industry.
